Anna Michalak received a set of new hearing aids thanks to the Campaign for Better Hearing’s Give-back program. The Give-back program awards hearing aids to those who need them through the generous donations from the campaign’s sponsors. Here’s how the Campaign for Better Hearing has improved Anna’s quality of life:

“In August 2017, I received a set of new hearing aids from the Campaign for Better Hearing and I would like to share with you my very positive experience! I was amazed from the beginning how wonderful this gift was.

“It started with me being able to hear all the noises that I have never heard before: the air conditioning, my fridge, (who knew fridges made so much noise!), rain, birds etc. Then, I realized I could enjoy much more watching TV without constantly looking at the subtitles. At work, I feel much better—more connected and involved because I am able to follow conversations much easier. I also became less anxious about not being able to understand others. What really brings a smile to my face is that a few people have already admitted that they noticed an improvement to. I stopped asking them so many questions about what they had just said so they don’t have to repeat themselves as much anymore.

“I am really astonished by how good the new technology is and how great my new hearing aids are working. They are a huge part of my life now and I cannot imagine being able to function like I am right now without them. Thank you for understanding people with hearing impairment and for your generous gift, it is very much appreciated!” –Anna Michalak

Hello! We apologize for the late reply. We do have sponsor clinics in Winnipeg that would be on this list. However, Costco is not one of our sponsors. You can fill out the request an appointment form and when we contact you, you can get more information on booking a hearing test. Thanks for commenting!
