“My one client is very soft spoken, had a meeting with her and instead of leaning in and asking him to repeat constantly, I was leaning back in my chair, just having a conversation, it was an easy interaction instead of the constant challenge.   
I feel more safe and in control at work because I can now hear what is happening outside my office, when people are knocking and coming into the building.
I am now more open about my hearing loss, I wear my hair up now, which I would never do before. 
I even told my boss and coworkers about having hearing loss and at a huge conference in Edmonton, with music playing loud in the background I could hear and participate in the conversation at my table!  And my kids are loving my improved hearing.”
