Campaign Ambassador: Betty Watson

Betty is a kind and positive force in her community, despite facing serious health challenges. With limited mobility and growing isolation, she misses the sounds of music, nature, and even her medical devices’ beeps. On a fixed income, Betty can’t afford hearing aids, but she dreams of wearing bright-colored ones (Sky Blue, Purple, or Pink) to raise awareness about hearing loss. This gift would greatly improve her quality of life and help her continue advocating for others.

Asked what the hardest thing about hearing loss is, she said : “…missing all the sounds you once enjoyed. 60s – 70s music that I once enjoyed have been taken from me”

Thanks to the Campaign for Better Hearing Give-back Program, Betty has received a brand-new pair of hearing aids.
