CAMPAIGN AMBASSADOR: Roger Vermette

Roger, a 61-year-old with an active lifestyle, had been struggling to afford quality hearing aids. Despite his efforts, the inexpensive devices he purchased on Amazon weren’t making a significant difference.

His primary challenge was understanding speech, especially in noisy environments like restaurants.

He often found himself isolated in conversations, unable to hear his grandson, who has a lisp, without repeatedly asking him to repeat himself. “It’s a lonely world not being able to participate in conversations,” Roger shared.

Thanks to the Campaign for Better Hearing Give-back Program, Roger received a brand-new pair of hearing aids. Now, he can enjoy his walks, shopping trips, and meals out with friends, fully engaging in the conversations he once missed.
