Daniela Lopez on the hardest thing about having hearing loss prior to receiving hearing aids.

“The hardest thing about having hearing loss is not being able to communicate easily with my friends and family. Since I do not have hearing aids, I have to ask them to repeat themselves. Sometimes I don’t even realize people are talking to me. Because being hard on hearing is an invisible disability, I am often looked down upon as people don’t believe me when I disclose my condition to them.
