LISTENUP! CANADA: NEDA CHELEHMALZADEH - The National Campaign for Better Hearing

Name: Neda Chelehmalzadeh

Location: Audiologist and Regional Manager at ListenUP! Canada, Mississauga, ON

“It is such a privilege to be able to provide a patient with the opportunity to hear better, whether it is a patient making that first big step in getting hearing aids or someone who has had difficulties with their existing hearing aids.”

Meet Neda: Neda loves the wonderful experience of spending time with her kids, watching them grow and seeing them become independent. Family is everything to her. She also loves gardening, the beautiful view it produces, and the satisfaction of knowing that she contributed to that view.

Neda has spent the last 11 years working at ListenUP! Canada as an audiologist and regional manager in Mississauga. Prior to that, Neda lived in Australia for a year. She began working in the field of hearing science in her undergraduate years at the University of Toronto, (where she was valedictorian for her 2002 graduating class,) then went on to pursue her Masters of Science at the University of Western Ontario 2005, and finally her Doctorate at A.T. Still University in Missouri in 2011.

Through the Campaign for Better Hearing, Neda is able to share the importance of hearing testing and explain the work her company is doing to provide patients in need with free hearing instruments. To Neda, there is no better way to give back to her community.

“It is such a privilege to be able to provide a patient with the opportunity to hear better,” says Neda, “whether it is a patient making that first big step in getting hearing aids or someone who has had difficulties with their existing hearing aids.”
